My handrail started 3 steps down because that's where the wall started and the stair guys got lazy I guess. Not sure why it wasn't built in with the stairs, but point is I needed a short handrail to make up the missing part. This worked perfectly. Was easy to install and came with some heavy duty drywall anchors and stainless screws. I was worried they would be thin weak screws but they are beefy. I screwed one end into a stud luckily, and the other end used the anchors. It is super solid, but at the end of the day its still drywall and I'm always going to prefer a stud if possible. Fits the spot perfect, looks nice and works for its intended use. I'm happy with it

I'm really happy with the 4FT Industrial Metal Stair Handrail! It's perfect for indoor and outdoor steps, providing great support with its 440lbs load capacity. The round pipe design adds a stylish touch to my staircase. The only downside is that the covers over the mounting brackets don't stay in place. I might try using some liquid nail to keep them secure. Overall, it's a fantastic handrail for safety and support!

I like this 8 foot long metal handrail. You do have to drill and self tap the screws at the connection points. The covers over the mounting brackets have no way to stay secured. So I used some tape on the inside to keep them attached. They appear to just lay with gravity so they may not lineup properly. The bar is a smaller diameter. It still seems to hold well on the wall. The finish is nice on this as well. I do recommend this if you need a grab rail for going down a longer length upstairs.

Well, I was excited it had screw in arms, but the middle needs to have a hole drilled into it to add/lock in the middle limb and to keep the rails together. I hate it, because if you get it off even a little bit, the rail doesn't sit straight. If it doesn't, I don't really know as mine didn't come with instructions. Once you get the hole drilled, it's easy to assemble and screw in place. It looks good and feels extremely sturdy. Typical pricing for rails like this as far as I've seen.

I got this for our stair way. I was apprehensive about it being 2 piece, but it feels very sturdy, and it only took about 10 min by myself to install. The one thing i dont like are the covers, they didnt stay in place, so i put a couple dabs of silicone on them and they are staying now.
