Soften tires: You have to boil the tires with water at 100 ° C for 20 minutes. Or put the solid rubber tire in the microwave for 3 minutes. After 1 minute, you need to take it out, turn it over, and then put it back in to continue heating.
Apply soapy water, petroleum jelly or a special tire lubricant to the inside of the tire. The use of petrol and lubricants is prohibited, otherwise the solid rubber tires will be damaged.
Place the solid rubber tire on one side of the rim and step on that side.
Put the rim in the tire with a professional tire lever.

Okay, the tires are really awesome and I was excited to place an order when I read about how these types of tires are specifically good for people whom are on the heavier side because of the way that they are shaped helps to absorb shock far better than many of the types of non-inflatable “hard” tires sold with the type of scooter they are made for. Which means that they last longer, will hold more weight reliably, will absorb more shock and result in a smoother more comfortable ride and will last a lot longer than most tires because of their unique design. The value for these is considerable and they are generally easy to install. Functionally they are far superior than most and even come with a scooter pry tool/scooter specific tire iron that makes installing the tires much less problematic than many of the tires available.

My God is this hard to get on hahaha. But it works great after it's on. The directions are simple and helpful. My six year old was convinced we were eating scooter tires for dinner bc I was boiling them to make them more pliable lol.

When my son had a flat tire on his Hover-1 Journey electric scooter, I was presented with 2 options: replace the inner tube or replace the tire with a tubeless version. My thought was I likely don’t want to do this twice, and BOY WAS I RIGHT. Now I cannot fault this tire. No matter what tire you use, the removal and replacement will be a pain. Luckily with this version, you only ever have to do it 1x.Watching a YouTube video, I found how to take apart the journey scooter and get the front wheel off. This is where the real fun began. It took my forever to get the original tire off. This kit includes a metal tire lever, which is crucial for the removal and install of the tires. I was able to pry off the tire after some work.To install the new tire, I did follow the instructions and soaked the tire in boiling water to soften the rubber. Getting the new tire on the wheel was quite a chore. It took me 20 min of constant strain and choice words, but I did finally get it. I’ll note again that this would not be possible without the included metal tire lever. In my case the back tire is still good so I’m in no rush to do this all over again, but nice to know I have the additional tire for when I’m finally up to the job.The tires are good quality and look nice. The holes in the side give it some cushion that would typically be given by an air tube. I’d recommend these for a great “one and done” fix for a flat e-scooter tire. My son says the look nice and rides smooth.Would I buy them again? Yes. Would I like to install them again. Nope.

This 2pc. Electric Scooter wheels were easy to install when soaked in hot water just like the direction said to do. Very pleased with this purchase. Great value !
