Water was spewing from the backflow valve cover one morning and thought I was going to have to dish out hundreds of dollars for a plumber. I looked on You Tube for a solution and learned about back flow valves. I ordered the 800M4 Vent Float Repair Kit and replaced the broken parts and problem solved. The only issue I had was a drip from where the metal and plastic threads met. PVC tape resolved that issue and I'm back in business. Thanks !

I seem to break these every year when front hits unexpectedly. Fixed the issue, worked perfect - perfect fit. No need to buy a whole valve. Just off water, twist off cap and put on the new parts. Water back on (needs to be at full pressure) and no more leaks!
