Not able to lift 250 pounds. Tried m20’s and these M 25s Lift at 280 pound plastic boat to the garage ceiling They both were loud and restrictive role because there’s no bearings I’m sure for a little things they would be suitable

I used these to lift a 200lb boat into the rafters of my garage. They worked excellent for the task. HOWEVER, those that complained about lubrication were dead on the money. It's metal on metal. No bushings no bearings. I bought Lucas red tacky grease in a spray can and sprayed it into the pulley assembly. Yes it was messy but it helped. I used a 3/8" rope, which was great. The lube is a necessity. WD40 or 3n1 oil will not be enough. You need something that will stay put.
