On softer waxes, it gets a bit clogged and you have to stop and clean out the grooves with a wire brush

I needed this for doing some wax carving and it works perfect for that. Very well made and I couldn't be more pleased with the construction of it. It doesn't appear to be ergonomically friendly, but it really is. You can use it for other filing needs as well. Definitely worth getting and I hope you find this review helpful!!

Perfect little file. I used it on a plastic part that didn't fit quite right. It's heavy and thick. Definitely a tool and not a toy. Does a great job filing.
