Let the hose warm up before attaching the chute adapter from the old hose. You have to muscle the hose to get a good fit. Works great! Good price and fast shipping.

Hooked right up to the original equipment grass catcher. I was just replacing a torn original tube and this was a good and affordable part.

hose arrived in a clear plastic wrap and in an undamaged box. Hose was only 21 inches long and had a cut in the middle. Not a good product. Reordered the MTD hose.

I purchased this to replace the original tube on my Cub Cadet XT1 LT42, which had split open. I did not need to cut it, but it would be simple to do. It feels very durable, maybe more than the original. Attaching it to the bag catcher was easy, but connecting the hose ring was a bit of a challenge. It probably would have been easier to install the hose ring before attaching it to the bagger. If you need to replace yours, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this one.
