The tube works after a long fight to attach it. It took me and my son arounf 45 minutes to attach the molded piece off my old tube.This tube said it works for the model of mower I haveI have a Craftsman T240.So if you have this mower I would look for something different.I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because I did make it work.I think this tube is a little smaller around then the tube that came with the mower. I had to screw it in further to the grass catcher to keep it from coming out again.It's also not very solid. It droops down from where it attaches to the mower and the catcher.The one that came with the mower didn't.I would have returned it and tried looking for a different one, but it's big and I didn't want to have to deal with it. So I made it work and so far it's doing ok.

Use your brain, it comes in a small box compressed, it fits what it says people. Do what I did for a day or 2

Is 1/4" smaller in diameter than the original and will not stay in. Was also a foot shorter fully extended than advertised. Is not a good replacement for original.

The stock tube lasts me 3 full seasons before UV finishes it off and it starts falling apart. This product arrived reasonably quick via USPS and mostly damage free (a section of coil was creased but, shouldn't impact usage). It's a coil so, it's compressed and wrapped in a thin plastic. I trimmed about 10" off and added the bezel from the previous tube. I prepped it with rubbing alcohol, sprayed it with a flexible automotive etching primer then, sprayed it with some left-over brown paint to try to extend it's outdoor life because these parts are rather pricey. Used it yesterday and, worked just as well as the last one... Recommended

This was a good bit cheaper that all the mower brand competition. I’ve been using this on a home built bagger for a season now and it has held up really good. It comes compressed into a small box so I would recommend hanging a weight on the end of it to stretch it out over night.
