Once I figured out that the reason it didn’t fit the frame I had was because I was trying to put it on upside down (doh!), I was able to get it put together and it works just like the OEM.

I'm generally wary of third party replacement parts of any kind, but MTD's bags are backordered, so I (reluctantly) went with one of these. My fears in this case were unfounded - the bag is of really good quality and a near perfect copy of the OEM. I fitted mine to an original MTD bag frame and it fit perfectly (nice and tight - takes some finger strength to get it in place, but you would not want it loose).

Great replacement for the worn out bag! Glad to have come across this before I spent a lot more replacing the whole frame without needing to.
