The ft70dr’s battery is terrible and really needs to be bigger and or a second one, is this worth it? Yes, I’m able to get a full at out of my radio with both this and the oem.

This is a 3rd party battery pack (not made by Yaesu) that touts 2000mAh capacity. I never measured it, but it lasts me all day. The OEM battery, only 1800mAh is good, but I chose to use this new one for awhile and use the other as a backup when needed. It lasts all day and charges within an hour with the fast charger I also bought along with it. Except for the label, I can't tell it apart from the original.
