Our mantel arrived today and we have a company coming to build a fireplace wall and install the mantle in a few days. Unfortunately, the item was damaged upon arrival. The packaging was not adequate. Not enough foam padding. No bubble wrap to protect it. We don’t have enough time to return or replace the mantel before the company comes to install it. It’s the perfect mantel for our fireplace and we love the color, so it’s even more disappointing that it arrived damaged.

The mantel looks great and the quality is pretty good. Had a few little areas to touch up that were scratched during shipping. Installation is a breeze.Would have been five stars if the company provided a little touch up paint.

This mantle is simple and looks great above our fireplace. Nice clean lines and plain black finish. It's completely painted black - I've seen others that are "weathered" and this isn't, it's solid black. The first one came damaged but it was replaced quickly, no problem.
