This little unit does not have a safety trigger on it so you must always be careful when handling it.It also only takes a 3/8" wide staple. In my opinion I wouldn't recommend this unit because of the safety issue.

Off to a bit of a rough start - I had to order staples specifically for this gun, I would rather have compatibility across as many tools as possible, but I will get enough use out of this to justify the added fasteners. Additionally, this thing had never seen a drop of oil before unboxing, so even after a couple extra drops of air tool oil it took quite a few firings to get everything working together. Once the oil was worked in, staples arrived and the compressor fired up everything worked great, I had no issues with softwood, plywood and even some scrap maple. One thing to keep in mind here - there is no safety of any kind on this gun, you pull the trigger and it goes. The staplers I have worked with in the past have either a safety button that must be held down before you can pull the trigger or a nose safety that prevents the gun from firing unless it is held firmly to the workpiece. This gun has nothing - so keep your finger away from the trigger until you are ready to fire.

Looking for a compact and solidly built air powered stapler? I was pleasantly surprised by this staplers build quality. It's definitely made to last. What I like.Fits standard quick connect fittings.Compact design is excellent for extended use.Body is solid metal. Very well built.Included are hex keys for disassembly, O-Ring kit for rebuilding, and manual. What I dislike.Lack of safety mechanism.9mm is not 3/8"! Staple size is smaller than 3/8 as stated in the manual, suggest you bring the stapler with you to test staple size when purchasing.Box says "stapler" "brad nailer" It is definitely not a brad nailer. Only stapler. (I'm assuming this is a common box used for multiple tool packages)Verdict.I really like this kit. The extra O-Rings are a nice addition. My main complaint with this unit is the lack of a safety. You will always need to be aware of the trigger and practice careful trigger discipline and never haphazardly toss the stapler aside or place onto a messy or cluttered surface which could lead to accidental trigger activation. Aside from this issue, it's an excellent stapler. Very well constructed and designed to last. Worthy of consideration.

The staples that this gun needs are not available online or anywhere I have looked in the United States. Not worth the hassle of attempting to get staples to use this tool. Can tell it is a high quality tool, but not very useful without staples.

This KAMSIN branded upholstery staple gun is well built. It has an ergonomic handle and it's well balanced.Worth noting that this staple does not include (1) staples or (2) an air compressor. Staples are cheap, but an air compressor isn't, so you need to factor that in when buying this staple gun or you'll be disappointed!I'll update this review in due course once I've got an air compressor to use with it.

I do some upholstery on the side as a hobby and for my own project vehicles. Therefore although I wanted a good quality product, I could not justify spending a lot of money on the popular top-of-the-line 22ga upholstery stapler. After speaking with my material supplier and doing a bit of research, I decided to make this purchase (Quad seat project). In short, the build quality appears to be very good, and it worked perfectly, without jamming a single time. I am very happy with the purchase!

I seem to be having great difficulty finding compatible staples for this item. I wouldn't think it would be that difficult, but it's not much good without staples (like buying a gun you can't find ammunition for). It would have been nice if this came with a small box of staples to get you started. I would love to give a more thorough, detailed review on the staple gun, but that will just have to wait (at best).

I got this stapler to use smaller staples for some of my wood projects. In the past I have used the mechanical ones for house projects but having the pneumatic power is great! The build of this one is good as well and the overall size is small/lighteright. Only downside I have noticed so far is that no case is included. It's not too big of a deal but my wen stapler did in fact come with one and that is something I like to have. I plan on using this for various projects like bed slats, shower backing etc. It's a very useful stapler to have and I would buy again

I was shocked when I tried to install standard 3/8" crown staples into the Kamsin stapler. The channel was much too small to accept 3/8" wide staples. Then looking at the single sheet manual it states the crown size is 9.1mm or .358" not .375".Careful measurements of the Kamsin staple gun confirm it will not fit standard 3/8" staples. See the attached pictures. Here are some other observations:No staples were provided with the kit. There is a o-ring kit I guess to rebuild but no instructions on how to rebuild it.The body is solid metal and the handle is oval shaped for a good grip.It uses a standard US size NPT nipple. Conclusion:DO NOT BUY IF USE STANDARD 3/8" staples.

While I am not a professional upholsterer, I can do quite a few upholstery repairs and fairly simple re-covering tasks and a myriad of woodworking projects This well made and powerful tool makes all that a lot easier. It has a light-weight aluminium alloy housing with a slim flat nose which allows it to get in tight and drive the staples flush. The rubber handle makes it easy to hold and the trigger has a nice light-touch. Easy bottom loading--can load 100 staples at a time.Uses 22 Gauge 71 series fine wire staples. Crown: 3/8" (9mm), Length: 1/4" to 5/8" (6-16mm)It’s Ideal for building cabinets, furniture, picture frames, upholstery and decoration, renovation, fabric attaching, etc. My wife wanted the downstairs powder room walls covered in fabric, I became a hero by blind tacking with my trusty air powered stapler.Yes you do need to own an air compressor.

Pros -The rubber grip has a soft textured feel, and feels good in the hand, very well balanced. Looks and feels solid and robust, yet very light.Other than the rubber grip, everything is made out of solid metal, it says in the description that it’s made out of aluminum, but it feels like something much better than aluminum. The package didn't come with any cushion or type of bubble wrap, but this tool seems too solid to be damaged during shipping anyway.Everything seems machined very nicely with no rough or abrasive edges. The staple trey slides in and out very nicely and is not an oily mess.It seems it’s built in a way that if something went wrong, or a part failed, it's very serviceable. It comes with an extensive and easy to find parts list. Also, their customer service is great. I contacted the seller with a question, and they got back to me quickly, within a day.As far as using the staple gun, the trigger is very easy to pull, and fatigue from the trigger doesn’t seem to be an issue. At about 90 psi it consistently put 1/4" staples in smoothly and flush to the surface. It took me about a minute to get used to switching between single and continuous fire modes but having that option was a big plus for me.The continuous firing mechanism is a nice touch, especially if doing a lot of repetitive work, and it was easy to adjust the speeds that I needed. The staple gun hasn't jammed on me, but it seems, by the way it is designed, that it would be incredibly easy to fix a jam. It’s just an easy tool to operate with. It comes with various extra parts, mostly O-rings as well as the hex key/allen wrenches needed to service some parts of the tool. Staples are also included, as well as some instructions.Cons –Just one small con. The only thing that could be better, like most tools, is the manual. The manual does have some helpful information and I’d recommend going over it, but I'd also recommend referring to the video, as well as the photos underneath the product description section, to fill in the gaps. So not really a big con.Overall, a very well built, simple, easy to use tool that works great. I'm happy I got it!Update - After contacting the company about the manual, they mentioned that they will make the manual more detailed and easier to understand. It's nice to know that the company stands behind their product and cares enough about even the smallest things. So, once the manual is redone, there is nothing bad I can say about the whole experience of using this product.Again, I still give this a 5.0 Star rating
