Does not fit Promaster window van. The OEM plastic interior trim around the door opening covers the metal where this screen magnets would attach to the side door. They don't stick to plastic. There would likely be a similar problem with any van with custom interior wood or other non magnetic trim all the way to door opening. This might work ok for a Promaster cargo van, but I do not have one of those to test with.It will not fit the rear of Promaster either, too narrow for the door opening by about 4 inches.Other than the obvious problem that makes it not work for me, it appears well made. There are lots of magnets, so it tends to ball up, requiring careful separation and holding during install.

I really like this screen, especially the strong magnets and how they snap to the door frame. They are plentiful and well-spaced. However, the fit of the screen is a bit tight. It would be nice if there was just a little extra material for an easier fit. The only real issue I had was with an edge seam that got overlapped when stitched and so the length was shortened by about 2 inches, as you can see in the photos. The overlap was at the top and you can see how that side was shorter at the bottom.

I am converting a 5-window minibus into my tiny home on wheels. This bug screen works okay for the bus double doors, but because I have a 10 pound dog that I don't want running out of the bus when she wants to, so I did get a "hard" screen that I can clip to the sides of the bus to keep her from just taking off. This, though, works well and keeps all the bugs out of my open bus doors on a pleasant day, allowing a breeze to blow through and when I pull air in with the RV ceiling fan. I have actually added home made window screens for the bus windows so I can open the windows and the same - keeps bugs out while allowing pleasant air to flow through. A must have so you don't have flies and what I hate to find is a wasp or hornet fly in - nasty bugs!!!

I've had other generic screen doors for vans but this one, designed specifically for the Promaster or Sprinter, had a lot of extra thought put into it. First, the screening is very soft and flexible, more like a fabric than a stiff screen. While it's very comfortable, I wonder how well it will hold up over the long haul. This also has pleats sewn into it along the top. I'm not certain the purpose of this but I think it allows for crosswinds without blowing the door apart (in the center) as easily as one that is stretched tight across the opening. Finally, the feature I like most is that this one not only has a magnetic close in the middle, it ATTACHES to the van with magnets which is much better than the screens with the velcro attachment. When you remove those, it tends to remove the other side of the velcro along with the screen.
