These blades fit my Bauer cordless circular saw and they make excellent cuts on softwood. They may work great on hardwood also but so far I have only used them for construction grade dimensional lumber. The thin kerf is nice for minimizing waste and I think it helps the batteries on my saw last a bit longer. The saw doesn’t seem to work quite as hard and the blade leaves a clean/smooth cut surface. The all purpose 40 tooth blade works best for me as I tend not to take time to change blades based on the particular task at hand. Instead I make do with the blade on the saw and if that happens to be an all purpose tooth pattern all the better. These blades are similarly priced or maybe a bit less expensive than closest comparison at the discount tool store. I can’t speak to the longevity of the blades as I have only had mine for a short time but they seem to be well made.

Cuts like a hot knife through butter. I think my 20V DeWalt cordless is a top-fuel dragster with this blade. Worth a try but be prepared for the saw to race through the cut. This almost caught me off guard while cutting 4x8 sheets of 3/4" plywood into 2'x8' and 3/8" ply into 2' squares. The multiple cuts had minimal splintering using no sacrificial board or tape. I'm impressed and hope they remain sharp for a reasonable amount of cuts. I believe they will. I typically use a Diablo 40 or 60T for plywood but thought I'd give one of these a test drive while I add a plywood floor to my attic. At the price point I paid for 3 blades ($18) I highly recommend these after several straight and accurate cuts. Blade flex and wobble was minimal. I've yet to crosscut any framing lumber but I expect them to outperform the DeWalt or Irwin blades I use on my 6.5" DeWalt cordless for 2x lumber. I don't think they'll handle cutting through nails or major demo work but I wouldn't expect that from any blade with a cordless circular saw. The kerf is quite thin, this takes some getting used to if you haven't used thin kerf blades before. but is a very positive thing when precision is needed. They're lightweight to extend the battery with more cuts per charge. After the 40 or so cuts so far, my year old 5ah battery still has about 50% charge left. You really can't go wrong with these 24T blades, especially for rough cuts and framing. Just remember to hold on when getting used to the first few cuts and deploy the parachute early.

Purpose for Product: Sizing plywood for hurricane storm shutters.Product Inspection: Very sturdy box containing three 7and 1/4" Hardwin 40 carbide tooth circular saw blades. Thereis a lot of extra packing between the blades to help protect them while in transit. Blades have alot of novel design features. Teeth are really sharp. Fits a Makita saw as it should.Product Performance: Normally I am using a 24 T blade for general construction but changing to these Hardwin40T for a better finish cut. Making 14 hurricane storm shutters from 1/2" exteriorplywood. These blades are a little lighter and thinner than I am used to. So far, they havecut flawlessly with sharp clean edges, no kick back or significant drift.Summary: Nice well-made 3 pack of blades that are holding their own so far. Found no defects.

I very quickly became a big fan of these blades. I have some lovely, expensive blades for my circular saws, but I found these were competitive with them. I have some doubt as to whether these will last as long, individually, but since a 3-pack is just over half the cost of one of the fancy blades, I think I'll still get more cuts per dollar out of these. These blades are so thin and light that they change the experience of using a circular saw. The kerf width of 1/16" means only a small amount of material is removed. The result is smooth, easy cutting with a lot less clean-up. These blades also really do get more cuts out of a battery. Enough so, in fact, that I have started using a smaller battery size in my cordless saw to get the same amount of work done. The 40T combination blades leave a pretty good finish and still cut much faster than the 36T blades I was using before. I'm going to pick up some of the 24T for cuts that don't have to be as pretty. I suspect they will cut almost as fast as I can slide the saw.

I grabbed these up when I saw them as usually the value 3-packs and such are 24 tooth and more appropriate for general rough cut framing. These being 40 tooth will make good clean cuts in plywoods without tear out. I plan to save them for that but they'd work well for cross cuts where your wanting a cleaner cut over the speed of a rip or framing type blade. Perfect for a nice clean look cutting off all the ends of deck boards in one long cut the length of your deck. Also they're thin kerf blades which are great in slightly underpowered cordless saws and the ATB -alternating tooth pattern always makes a cleaner cross grain cut.Good blades at three 40 tooth for $25. Definitely saving them for breaking down nicer plywood that's not practical on the table saw. That pretty much requires a circular saw which is where these blades will do a fine job.

I was skeptical. Thin Kerf blades have a bad habit of vibrating/oscillating such that they very rarely produce a narrow Kerf, in fact they often leave a cut that looks like a regular blade. Looking at the large cutouts in the blade, I thought that can't help things. I like the weight. I just got a brush less portable circular saw and love it's light weight and this doesn't add much to it. But I needed to put it to the test. The worst case scenario..... Rip Cut a 2 x 6 piece of Doug Fir. It cut smooth with no squealing, vibrating or singing. I was also surprised the blade was still cool to the touch. And as advertised, a nice thin Kerf.

Fits my circular saw perfectly. Good sharpness and good life of the blade. No issues to speak of. Assuming you use this for cutting framing members this is a handy 3 pack to have.
