I bought my hard hat off of Amazon. The brand is Defender. It wasn't expensive, but I guess the sweatband was pretty nice. This band is not a good replacement for the original band my hard hat came with. It's smaller so it covers less of the suspension. It's also not as breathable. The fit on the hat is pretty bad too. It's made from very basic material that I wasn't expecting. If I didn't have to replace my original sweatband, I would return this right away. The only good thing about it is the shipping was quick. But I would not recommend.

I have been using my first one out of the set for months now and admit that I forget it’s there. It’s so comfortable. I will need to remind myself to take it out and clean it… yuck… but that says a lot about the product in my opinion. I haven’t tried washing them yet to see how they hold up but with the performance I’ve seen I’m not concerned because these would be a good value even if I threw them out instead of washing. Will definitely buy again if and when these ever wear out.

I can't stand the plastic "sweat band" padding that is part of most hard hat suspension systems. They are too cold for fall/winter and make my forehead sweat in the spring/summer. These wraparound sweatbands work great and prevent both of those issues from happening! I would definitely buy these again.

They are not big enough for hard hats. They are not cut out enough to go around everything.
