FAQS:

• How do I separate your dividers? No cutting is required. Simply bend them back and forth at the seam once or twice until they simply snap off.
• Do your dividers have the blue paper I have to peel off? No, our dividers don't have any film that needs to be removed.
• Why don't my dividers fit? Please check to be sure you have one of the Akro Mils bin part number specified above in the listing. Our dividers do not work with older models or other manufacturer's bins.
• Why do I have to use a small bin width divider to use a small bin length divider? The Akro small bins only have slots to hold in a width divider. The length dividers have to be held in place by one or more width dividers. This is the opposite of the large bins.
• Why do I have to use a large bin length divider to use s large bin width divider? The Akro large bins only have slots to hold in a length divider. The width dividers have to be held in place by one or more length dividers. This is the opposite of the small bins.
• Can I label the dividers? Yes, you can either apply a sticky label or write directly on the dividers. The white coloring of our dividers makes the labelling standout well.
• Can I use these Akro bin dividers in other manufacturer's bins? No, we are not aware of any other manufacturer that these will work with.
• Someone posted pictures showing your dividers don't fit, why is that? Please note they are trying to use the same divider for both length and width, this does not work as the bin's length and width are different sizes. Because of the many possible uses and different configurations, our length and width dividers are sold separately. Please see our guidelines for selecting the appropriate dividers.
• Why is there a small gap under the small bin length dividers when used in the center of the bin and what can we do about it? The small Akro-Mils bins have a small bump in the bottom of the bins which are part of their manufacturing process. When a length divider is placed over this bump in the middle it creates a small gap on the order of 1/32 of an inch between the bottom of the divider and the bin. If the length divider is placed in one of the other possible positions, this gap is not present because there is no bump. Keep in mind though the slots within the dividers themselves are much larger, on the order of 1/16 of an inch. If you intend to use our dividers to store items smaller than 1/16 of an inch then this may not be a perfect solution for you anyways and/or may require some modifications.
• Why don't you just put a cutout on the small length dividers to go over the bump? While it might seem like a simple solution, unfortunately it is not. It might solve the problem when used in the center position but if used in the other positions it just creates a new gap. Also, this bump has been located in more than one location over production of these bins, meaning it would require multiple cutouts to meet everyone's needs and may not work in the future. Our recommendation is that if you need the middle divider to sit 100% flush, you can quickly shave this area out. For most people and most items you will ever want to store, this will never even be an issue.
