Pretty sturdy actually. Used as a skirt foundation for mother ginger in the nutcracker ballet! Got a little heavy with the extra fabric I tacked on and I had to sew on suspenders to help distribute the weight. I had a hard time figuring out how to store so I’d recommend watching a video on how to do fold it

I bought this hoop for how big the bottom was and it being adjustable. Of course it was to long for my 5yo daughter so I stitched up the bottom to make it shorter but still have to diameter. It worked great and I could also wear it if needed. It wasn't heavy for her to wear and she didn't complain about being uncomfortable. It worked great for what I needed.

Def gave my wedding dress the volume it needed but ripped and broke within hours of wearing it. had to take the whole bottom wire off after the ceremony but even then it still lifted my.dress something amazing. definitely a one time use for me but my tailor canceled on.me.last minute and the dress was 4 inches too long. I panicked and bought this hoop skirt and it saved the day.
