The metal these are made of is robust, about 3/16 inch thick. They are very rugged, but not formed well. The parts that are bent to form the feet with screw holes in them were not bent at a 90 degree angle and are off slightly such that the feet do not lay flat on the door surface - they wobble a little (photos don't show it). One is worse than the other. It’s not awful, and once you have screwed them down securely they are ok. The screws seem a little thin for such thick handles, but the holes for them are recessed so the heads are out of the way. The screws protrude about 1 inch beyond the base of the handle foot. My use for them is a little unusual. I’m attaching each of them to the top of a pair of metal sawhorses. They will go in the middle and on top, with pieces of 2x4 board on either end. The handles’ height is just a hair under the thickness of a typical 2x4: 1.5”.
