Keeps my bike clean and dry

It’s a good idea, but the water from the road and from my truck still made its way inside the bag. When I get to my destination, a pint of water was poured out from inside. I definitely would not buy again, but I’ll have to try something different the next trip.

If your bike rack fits the wheels in a trough and has a clamp which goes over the frame, this might be the traveling bike cover for you! If you have a rack where you place the frame over the rack guide, than you need to continue looking. Also not suitable for those racks which dangle the front tire over the back edge of the pickup bed. That is the most important thing, making sure this cover will work for your rack style. That being said, the rack has a grommet on one end so you can apply a cable lock for more security. The cover fits over your handlebars and your bike completely, with the open side on the bottom of the bike. This is great in the winter to prevent road salt and grime from getting on your sprocket, chain, and disc brakes. It also completely hides your bike if you have something high end that you would prefer people not gawk over or take notice of when you are at a rest stop or restaurant where you may not have eyes on your bike 100%.

This cover is oversized, additional tie-downs are required to keep it from flapping in the wind while driving. It can rip easily if not tied down correctly.

Very loose fit. Looked like it could not protect from rain and would most likely be ripped in travel.

I use this to cover a 26" eBike and a 20" eBike when we're camping and when we're traveling and rain is forecasted I cover the bikes in the bed of the truck. The material is the best, DON'T get anything less than D600 material. The big round grommets came off when using in the truck, but I just tapes them back on and don't use the holes any longer. Instead just put bungee cords around and hook to each other.

The material is a good thickness and appears to be waterproof and durable. This is intended to be used for a bike rack that holds the bike at the wheels and not by the frame. For $40 (price at time of review) this is a good value for the money.
