Ribbing is horizontal not vertical. Unusable for my purpose. Sad, it was the exact color I needed.

The color was fine, the shipping and packaging were fine (in a sandwhich bag and in a box), I ordered 2 yards, (2 1-yard cuts.).... The elastic recovery seemed acceptable, but not great. My issue is, the cut is along the ribbing instead of perpendicular, even though the description clearly states they can be used for cuffs, necklines, and bandings.... There is only 1-way stretch (between the ribbings) so my 8"x36" cut can get me 8 in cuffs, but not a long band or neckline (unless I want to seam pieces and pieces together.)In My Opinion, they should be cut so that I get 8x36 piece that I can use 36 inches of banding without seaming it together, rather than 8.

I make dog shirts and this fabric works great for the cuffs and neckline. It has the needed stretch and is nice quality.

Now i know this is meant for sweatshirts etc BUT i used it to repair a band tee that the underarms were just shredded on. It allows for more movement in that area and is sturdier than the original fabric.This material is soft and stretchy and you get a nice length in it (1m). The width is nice as well with it being 20cm - so if you are using this as expected you can double it over at the cuff or hem of a sweatshirt.

This ribbed fabric is a beautiful shade of blue…it is also soft with enough stretch for its purpose.I make clothing at times and know this will be lovely for cuffs and necklines. It is the price that it disappointing but that is subjective I guess.A choice of colours to chose from and good to add to your stash.
