I received this channel, and I must say it came nicely packaged. The metal parts are sturdy and seem to be well-made, designed to hold 12mm LED strips perfectly. However, I do have some worries about the plastic covers. They’re very thin, and I’m concerned that they might not hold up well over time. Since I expect these products to last a long time, I think the covers could be their weak point. Normally, I would lower my rating a bit because of the cover’s quality, but I haven’t had any issues yet. If I run into problems later on, I’ll adjust my rating to reflect that.

These LED channels are what I had hoped for. I've used these type of drywall LED channels before. In contrast to those I find these are of comparable quality both in terms of the aluminum rail and the diffusion cover. There will of course be some loss of brightness given the cover, but it seems translucent enough to make the strip look more like a high-density COB strip without the same cost.I especially like that the ends of the channels and covers are finished smoothly for the most part, but are not beveled on the ends. This helps hide the seams and avoid creating a poor looking fit when butted against each other and/or cut at an angle.The cover fits well and should function well given the cover. The installation should be easy, assuming you are, or know someone who is, comfortable working with drywall and can mount these from the back of any exiting drywall you cut the gap for this into it. Drywall is not my skill set, so I'm going to contract that out.These offer a good value for a good quaity set of channels. I would look at your project and see what the best mix of two meter and one meter pieces (since these are one meter long).

These recessed aluminum LED drywall Channels are just what you need to install LED strip lights in drywall for accents etc. They also work perfect with 1/2" drywall or molding depending on your use case. I highly recommend them if you're doing a LED project and they fit your needs!

I Just received these LED Channels and I'm very excited to get my project underway. Everything is included to do your project except the led light strip which I have ordered. I'm going to use a led strip that is multi color so that I can give it a different color look depending on my mood. Imagine having a red, blue or another color line going up your wall, in your ceiling or accenting an area on the wall. That would be cool, sleek and modern looking. Make sure you use an led strip that is 12 mm, 120 led so that you don't end up getting spot type lighting. The channels are made of good quality aluminum and include the end caps, white covers, and screws. The white covers basically snap into the channel once you install your led lighting strip. I'm going to be installing these in a different type of situation, I'm going to place them either above or below my current molding to accent a nice led line around the bottom (floor) or the top of the molding. These are really intended to use in a drywall situation where you place these in between two pieces of drywall to give you a nice linear look but I think these will work for my project and many other ideas that you can think of. The possibilities are endless with these LED channels.Overall, I'm very happy with these led channels and if you are looking for a project to do to have a nice clean linear type of modern looking light, this is the way to go. The value is very good for the money because you are getting 6 pieces in total with covers.

These channels are the perfect way to bring a sleek, subtle, and modern lighting option to our bathroom remodel. It’s well-designed and versatile, offering a seamless installation with its trimless, plaster-in design that blends beautifully into drywall, giving a clean and minimalistic finish.The aluminum material is a good gauge that provides a sturdy support for easy installation as well as being the right choice for wet areas like a bathroom. I’m not sure how much heat my led strips provide, but the aluminum should also be effective at dissipating any excess heat.They do measure exactly one meter. So, at about 20’ in total, I’ll be able to either do one wall with some to spare or use them in only the ledges and recesses and alternate with my two sided channels to do most of my wet wall space.My only concern is the longevity of the diffusers, since they seem like they may be easily scratched… so, I’ll have to be extra careful when cleaning them after installation.Overall, I’m very happy with these!
