Had to cut a 1/8" slot 4 feet long in threaded rod. Thought I would break 3. Didn't break any. I was patient.

Cutting 6061-T6 1/8 & 1/4" material. Tool life is very short. Found good setting after 2 broken bits. 13800 RPM - 40 IPM feed - Plunge 3.5 IPM - .014 DOC. Gave a clean channel cut with almost finish quality. Averaged 4' of completed depth cut per tool before they dull, burr the cut edge, jamb, and break.Buy 3 times as many as you need. Or just buy 3 of American made quality tooling for the same price.

They are nice and sharp and cut well for my project. I tend to go easy on small end mills but seemed to be strong enough. I cut the slots in the pictured adapter with no issues.

Great deal. Bought these and one from another company to compare. These are super. I was looking for a good supplier to order from in the future and this is the one

I knew I was buying cheap cutters, but I was surprised by how easy it is to burn these up. I've only used these on plastics and extremely soft woods (MDF, redwood, cedar, pine) - I can basically get one small CNC project done per bit, and the bit is burnt up and toasted. I've tried different speeds and feeds, and they still don't last. That said, for the price, I might buy these again. They're basically disposable. Also worth noting is that the cutter is relatively small and immediately ramps up to the shank; you'll want to think about this geometry in relation to what you commonly cut; a traditional 1/8" end mill with a 1/8" shank has an advantage on depth of cut.
