This is a 900m soldering tips pack of 5 pcs premium quality universal solder tips, which fits for many tools like hakko.
Product Maintenance:
- Before Use:
Apply new solder to the soldering iron tip to remove the oxide layer. Avoid scratching or grinding the iron tip as it may damage the plating.
- During Use:
*Before turning off the soldering station, do not remove excess solder from the solder iron tip . This excess solder protects the tin-plated surface from oxidation during reheating.
* Avoid using solder with anti-seize properties (screw head) as it may affect the functionality of the soldering iron. If seizing occurs, remove the soldering iron tip while it is still hot.
* To prevent seizing, periodically detach the soldering iron tip from the handle.
* It is recommended to use distilled water for dampening the cleaning sponge as tap water contains minerals that can corrode the soldering iron tip .
- After Use:
* When soldering, use neutral and active flux whenever possible. Clean the soldering iron with a soldering sponge dampened with water; do not use cloth.
* Keep the working surface coated with solder at all times. Wipe it clean only before each use and immediately reapply solder after finishing.
* If the soldering temperature exceeds 350 degrees and work is paused for more than 1 hour, the soldering iron tip should be tinned again.

I cooked my only soldering tip and needed a replacement. I decided to upgrade to this 5 pack for multiple sized tips. Im glad I did. They fit my soldering station and the versatility of having the multiple sizes on hand has come in quite handy in the various projects Ive been working on. Their coatings have now outlasted the tip that came with my soldering station and theyre still going strong 16 months later and a whole roll of solder. I'd consider myself mediocre at soldering so these tips have seen some abuse.

These tips are very convincing when looking at them through a tablet screen , HOWEVER , once received and at first site , you realize why so cheap. 1st. They are incredibly thin walled, I would so not even a 1/4 the thickness of the original, which ment they only had enough heat to get hot, but as soon as you touch anything to them or if you have a fan on they cool just as fast and never reach a point that they can correctly do their job( melt soldier).2nd. they are so thin that they are lose on the tip of your gun,(need good contact to establish proper heat transfer) and if you try and tightin them by giving them a little squeeze, they crumble. I was in a pinch so I modified one by removing the only decent part the very tip and wrdgeing it into the old cavity, so far works great! But won't last , bottom line, I bought a 5pack......... I can only use the tip of one the rest are complete garbage!!!!!!!!!
