Use this on a basement door and it is perfect. Easy to install and the speed at which it reads fingerprints is almost instant. With so many ways to unlock it is very functional and a good value for the money.

Easy to install physically, and on the app if you are at all tech savy. Build quality seems good. The only problem with the functionality is the fingerprint scanner frequently requires multiple repeat scans. All entry modes including fingerprint, pin code, key card, and physical key do work. Personally, I think they look cool, and are a great value.

Very powerful software. Now this device comes from china and if that bothers you ( because let’s face it someone there will have your door code) then don’t get it. But I’m not bothered and I am very satisfied with the quality and price. Easy to install. I use it in my garage.

I bought this on June 3rd and at first it seemed pretty high tech. I was able to set up the whole family on the Tuya App with fingerprint, 6-digit pass numbers and the wireless key fobs. So the default is for the door to auto disengage the handle as soon as you open/close use the door handle. You would think that you could use any of the methods to open the door but fingerprints might work 1out of 5 tries, pass number doesn’t work and the key fob has to be touched in the exact spot for it to work. Here’s the biggest negative! A nice feature is that there is an internal, USB rechargeable battery. Just plug the cable into the charge port on the edge of the door handle and it SHOULD recharge! One the high tech fancy voice alerted me the other day “the battery is low please recharge”, I plugged my charger chord from the wall to the handle. I let it sit for several hours and assumed it to be charged. Mind you that there was no indication, indicator lights or app notifications about battery charged status. Well, this morning, my son-in-law called me to say he could not get in with his code. I was not at home but when I got there, I couldn’t get in either! I only got that “battery needs recharging” message. I had enough and decided to put my manual door locks back and arrange to get this sent back to Amazon for refund. Guess what? Amazon says my return window ended on July 3rd, just 1-month!! Today is July 13th and it seems I got took this time!! I say all that to save you the time, hassle and money! Stick with the good-ole old school manual key door knob. At least you will be able to get into your house, u less you lose the key. But that’s another story.

Wasn't to hard to install. A tad confusing at first as you need to remember what part of your finger and what finger you used. I have had mine for a few months now and it works great every time. First few months were hard to get use to as I didn’t put my finger right on the same placement each time so would tell me it was wrong at first.

It is difficult to program. Difficult to add finger prints. Difficult to connect to the app.After an hour or so setting up it works as expected
