I ordered this off-brand item as a back-up to my real Toro bag after I bought a new Toro electric mower. I opened the package which contained this off-brand mower bag and immediately smelled a horrible, strong chemical smell. In addition, the bag came with lots of pieces that had to be assembled for the frame. I wrapped that off-brand bag in a thick garbage bag and put it in the trash. Just get another real Toro bag if you want a backup.

This bag and frame kit 'works' but that's about all that can be said for it. Instead of a one-piece frame you get an aftermarket folding design that has sleeves to slide over the folding portion that then need to be pinned in place to hold the frame out straight. One hole was drilled in the wrong place and needed to be modified to actually assemble the frame. The bag is a poor fit to the frame and needs to be stretched to clip fully over the front, which then causes it to seal poorly on the mower itself. When mowing you are catching about 75% of the grass, the other 25% blows mostly out the top and all over your legs but some out the sides of the bag as well. This all could really be forgiven if the kit cost around 30-40 dollars but at 80 dollars it's only about another 20 dollars to get an official Toro kit on Amazon which is well worth it to not have any of these problems.

Even though my inquiry stated the model I ordered was right it does not fit correctly to my mower. I use it but not as efficient as I’d like.

Our lawn mower bag with frame unfortunately" ejected itself" from our trailer while transporting our rear wheel drive Toro Smart Stow. We are so grateful we found this product on Amazon. The dealer cost for a replacement bag and frame was just way to expensive for our well used mower. This kit fit perfectly and my husband stated " it is better than the one that came with the mower". It is now the end of mowing season for us and it has held up well with no problems.
