Nice product. I used them for transmission oil cooler lines where the end form is a double flare or inverted flare. My only problem was the lack of product information in the advertisement. For anyone wondering the thread is 1/2" - 20 for inverted flare. I couldn't find the information on any of the sites I searched including Hillman's. I took a gamble that they would be the typical standard used for 5/16" transmission/ brake line and they are but it would have been nice to know prior to buying. They are also solid brass not just brass colored. I bought them for use on the Copper-Nickel brake/transmission line as the material compatibility of brass and Copper is good and these are less expensive than stainless.UPDATE 03JA2016: I needed more of these fittings. The second set received was a steel fitting with a conversion coating; not Brass. A return request was submitted and a replacement set of fitting was received which are also steel coated. The steel fittings appear to be of excellent quality but they are not solid Brass like the first ones I purchased. I will return the steel fittings and look elsewhere. I'm uncertain how contaminated the supply is or if the solid Brass parts are just no longer available. Very upsetting considering the first parts were exactly as described.
