I’ve ordered two of these. The problem with the first one was the adjustment screw. I had a machinist friend of mine take a look at it. He basically said that the screw was the wrong size. I just assumed that I got a lemon, so I sent the first one back and requested a new one. The second one came in and it has the same problem. There is no way to adjust this die nut with the provided screw. It’s a great idea, but it’s a terrible product.

I used this to thread the barrel of my bolt action rifle so I could add a muzzle brake.It worked perfectly.

I rough cut the 5/8-24 threads on a lathe and used this die to chase the threads and clean them up for a muzzle brake. The die worked great for me.
