I used these binding posts to fasten wooden handles to stainless steel spatula blades. They worked well especially for an aluminum fastener. I would not recommend removing these post once in place with the expectation to reuse them due to how soft the threads are. Other fasteners made from steel should be used in higher tension applications. I am satisfied and will purchase this brand in the future.

The reason for 2 stars is that the seller and shipping were good. However, I will never buy these again! They cross thread way to easily and are not good for re using either.

Shipping problem caused delay, made UPS AND USPS both look bad. Product looked good, out of the boxhowever, inadequate threads caused problems, about half of these fasteners wouldn't draw tight to 5/8" dimension. rough threads, along with screw slot on only one of two parts

What can I say? It's just a screw post. But it does do what I need it to, so I like it. I recommend it to others.
