Is working great. i purchased Apr 13, 2024 and it only lasted 5 months not sure what the warranty is on this part but i think it should last longer then 5 months when you only use it to drive at night

I added foglights to a non-foglight 04 Dodge Ram. The wiring harness was pre-wired. I just had to add the lights and a new interior switch with the foglight option. I purchased this one. It looks similar to the OEM part. No complaints there. I installed it and everything worked great for about 2 weeks. Then, out of no where, I noticed my dash lights, parking lamps, and headlights would not turn on off. My truck would ding when I took the key out of the ignition and opened the door, as if I left lights on. I checked all of my fuses and relays, which were fine. I thought it might be my ignition, brake switch, ECM, or alternator. Many things can cause weird electrical malfunctions. Luckily, before I bought and wasted my time with any of these expensive replacements, I disconnected this switch and installed the old one, and all of these problems stopped. This leads me to believe that the switch is bad, since it worked fine for 2 weeks. I will not be purchasing this brand to replace it.
