Day 0

1. Please use eggs within 7 days of birthfor hatching.

2. Clean the surface of the eggs with a wet paper towel (bacteria on the eggshell may infect the chicks).

3. If you do not know how to disinfect the eggs, just make sure the surface is clean.

A04-2

Day 7

Check after day 7, day 10, day 15 and day 19.

1. Check them one by one with light.

2. If you can see blood in the eggs, they are well developed, otherwise they are unfertilized or weakly fertilized and will not hatch and you need to mark these unfertilized eggs. This can improve the hatching rate.

This large-capacity incubator is perfect for small farms. I’ve only used a 24-egg incubator before, but this one looks high-quality. The large transparent lid allows for a clear view of the entire hatching process. It has an automatic egg-turning function that rotates every two hours without manual assistance. The LED display lets you control humidity, temperature, incubation days, and egg-turning time directly.

This incubator has several frustrating issues. The power cord doesn’t stay firmly plugged in, which is a major concern. The water reservoir is very shallow and dries out quickly, making humidity control difficult. The alarm beeps constantly, which is extremely annoying. If your room temperature isn’t at least 68°F, you’ll need to use the included foam case to maintain warmth as shown in the attached picture. I couldn’t find a way to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit, and despite being advertised as a 55-egg incubator, it actually holds 56 eggs. Overall, not worth the hassle.

This incubator kind of sucks. None of the gauges really. The humidity gauge breaks almost immediately but i've bought it because i've figured out how to modify it for me. The air flow is not good so I have to take a wood burner and put four small holes in the top so oxygen flow through it. I have to immediately pop the humidity gauge out of its casing and put it in water so it will stop showing error. ( broke within first 5 minutes) i put my own humidity gauge and thermometer in there. Then change. The temperature accordingly. Very hard to clean. I wouldn't use it for hatching out only incubation. Only ordered it a second time because i've already tested it all out on one that I bought and got it to work.

I have this same exact incubator. And I was incubating some peacock eggs. Well they hatched while I was at work and they drowned. There is way too much room between the tray that the eggs lay on and the side walls. The chicks all of them drowned. I do not recommend this incubator!!!

I bought this incubator a while back. Actually I should say that I bought a different incubator but was sent this one. That was a headache to deal with and Amazon didn't even help correct the error simply because the seller was communicating with us. To make a long story short, I attempted to hatch 48 eggs once, the hatch rate was zero. I had to Macgyver the heck out of this incubator just to get a "decent" hatch rate on a different attempt. I eventually had to remove the hygrometer and wrap the probe with a wet paper towel so it would quit beeping at me to add more water (even though the reservoir was still full), the thermometer didn't even read accurately, I eventually added an actual reliable thermometer/hygrometer combo to give me a more accurate reading. It seems as though they have improved the internal design that prevents the successfully hatched chicks from falling in and drowning, because that's exactly what happened with mine. Of the 10 chicks that hatched three of them managed to fall through the sides and drown in the water reservoir, a couple hatched, the rest failed. The chicks that failed to hatch but made it full term ended up drowning within the egg (one pictured) due to poor internal conditions of the incubator (too high of humidity thanks to the poor quality hygrometer). My best hatch success was 4 out of 6 eggs, as seen in the pictures provided. I also had to add crafting screen as to prevent the chicks from falling down in the water reservoir. The only benefit to this incubator is it taught me a lot about hatching chicks, egg and chicken anatomy, and what to look for in an incubator. I gave this one many chances, most of which were bolstered by my attempts to make it work, but I ended up just getting rid of it because it wasn't worth the mile of effort needed to get a low hatch success rate. You may save a lot by paying the low price for this incubator, but you get very little reward from it and waste a lot of life trying. I can only say that I hope they have improved this incubator overall, but buy at your own risk.
