soaked in oil overnight worked perfectly no lifter noise at startup anymore but i also replaced the oil pump at the same time 4.7 dodge so far so good a couple hundred miles

Sent back immediately. These lifters wouldn't have lasted a week. Bought name brand and what a world of difference. If you know anything about engines you'll see what I mean when they get delivered. You won't be happy

Great value and exactly as described in the ad. Hand primed in a tub of fresh 5W-30 and they are quiet as a church mouse on cold and warm start up as well as running down the road. I replaced the whole set while replacing head gaskets and having the heads both surfaced due to a .006"-.007" trough right down the middle of the mating surfaces on my 2000 Dakota with 192k miles. Compression test was good as well as the vacuum reading so the short block ieft alone other than a new timing set, water pump and oil pump. Runs out like a new one again so I'm very pleased.

They worked out well and were on time as promised. Lots of work to install so if your not handy don't try it. I doubt that most will that are not familiar with engine work.
