While I'm sure these make great map pins, I don't use these for their intended purpose. I am a woodturner, and I use them for eyes on turned animals like pigs, chickens, and mice. I use the very small ones for the nose on the mice also. The are shiny and add more personality than a blob of puff paint or gesso.

I didn't really like this product. They felt flimsy and if you aren't careful, they bend going into the wall. They are very small and thin, so these won't be able to hold up thick or heavy objects very well.

These were way smaller than expected but did the job. Had to use a lot of them for my project but very satisfied. Bend real easy so be careful.

Pins are useful for identifying places on a physical printed map fastened to a pliable backboard. Some pins are not highest quality and heads break off, causing headless pins to drop or be otherwise at large which could pose a danger.

I have a map made of foam board and I use these pins to mark locations. They are perfect length as they do not stick out as far as a standard length push pin, and they hold well in the map board. Works great.

I mean... They're push pins... Tiny black plastic ends. Structurally sound I suppose. Ummm... I mean, don't try and pin something that weighs several hundred pounds with them. For that you want the MIGHTY BOAR PUSH PINS! STEEL SPIKES FOR MOUNTING THAT WILDABEAST TO THE WALL! CAN ONLY BE INSTALLED WITH MJÖLNIR!!!! AFTER EACH USE YOU MUST CHUG 4 GALLONS OF DEISEL FUEL!!!! O.o wait. This is the internet. Don't do that kids. And quit checking out reviews for pushpins. Go fly a Kite or something fun! Toodles!

The pins are fine. If for some reason the surface is hard, some of the pins did bend and in some cases the little balls at the end fell off.
