Worked fine on my 1982 Honda atc 200e you my have to retard the advance through as these have an electronic advance built in

For the price this is a great item. Since it had the same type of plug and most chinese parts are based off of old style honda parts i tried it on my honda spree that had i burnt out cdi. I put it on and it fired right up. I havd since put 200 trouble free miles on it.

This is why I love Chinese ATVs... the parts are so cheap! If you have a Chinese ATV that isn't getting a spark (and it's not because of a wiring issue), it's either 1) the spark plug is fouled, 2) the ignition coil is bad, 3) the CDI is bad, or 4) the stator is bad. With exception to #4, the fixes are very cheap and easy to replace. I've bought this CDI for several ATVs that I bought used and weren't running. Once I replaced the necessary parts, they've all worked great.

Fixing a POS chinese ATV. The CDI may or may not have been the issue, it still doesn't run! But the part is cheap and looked fine. Was packaged well.
