I bought these to use when I touch up the "dings" on my 8 year old car. And I have a special coating I can put on the car to help it repel dirt. I like the loop and look fastening so it is secure on the buffer.

These polishing pads are well-crafted with a smooth surface. However, the stitched edges can be a bit rough. It's best to avoid having the edge come into contact with the surface you're polishing. I recommend using these polishing pads on a flexible holder disk when working on a car due to its body curves.

Pretty soft. Doesn't seems like it will shed. Seems decent. Good enough thickness too which is good. Will update when I use.

If you want a glossy finish on your project, these pads will help you. They go on quite tight around 5" orbital sander and the hook-and-loop hold them securely in place. They're fluffy on the outside, a little like some of the kid's plushy toys. Overall, however, they're not too thick, so I expect the fluffy layer will wear out with use. I think that's acceptable for 5 of them for $10. I used them to polish a scratched up sports watch. This worked out very well and took less than a minute. Very minor signs of wear for this amount of time.

I got 5 of these polishing wheels in the pack. They have a velcro-like backing on them that matches the wheel on my power polisher. I use them with a cutting compound to take the streaks and small scratches out of the finish on my boat. Come warmer weather, I’ll also use them to buff the entire paint job on my truck.These are decent quality buffers at a good price.

I’ve used many wool pads for polishing and these are good quality. Short hair models, pad thickness 0.6 inch which is perfect for buffing projects. The looped backing hold on tightly to my polisher. These hold up well in the use 1800-3000 rpm range, I’ve seen others wool fold down. Having 5 is a good amount for when one wears down.
