Been satisfied with output of my Barrina T5 shop lights but finally getting around to hard wiring them. Included pigtails were only ~8-in, way too short. Unfortunately these replacement cables were not a direct fit. The Barrina lights require a slightly deeper keyed notch above the ground pin. But was able to modify the plugs, cutting 1-2mm of the rubber away with a utility knife. After modifying they fit well and secure.

The cords appear to be well made but the outer case of the plug will not fit the Barrina light. I bought 2 packs of 4 and tried all 8 ends of the of the pack I had opened and not one would fit. I will return to Amazon and try another brand.

We needed some connectors between T8 lights and T5 lights on different levels of a vertical plant/grow stand. These cords let us easily go from one shelf level to the next shelf which was 18 inches higher. The length could have been shorter for our use, but the original cords that came with the strips were much to short.

I upgraded the lights in my shop to LED. like more shops I have some things that are already mounted on my ceiling. These whips saved me from having to relocate those. The only thing I have found is that they do contract if its cold and loose contact. The plugs on the connectors were a hair to tight to fit into my lights so I just used a fine file and slightly shaved them to a snug fit. I fixed the contraction issue by putting a little 100% silicone around the connector and the light frame to hold it. Perfect now. Giving 5 stars because the light fixtures were made elsewhere and the issues were simple fixes. much more easier then moving the mounted equipment on my ceiling.
