These clamps are absolutely beasts! To start my only complaint is that they came with a light oil coating on the metal that was kind of sticky and immediately attracted dust. This was remedied quickly with a few quick wipes with some brake cleaner (all I had nearby). These clamps are great for carpentry and even framing. The pin pops out of the jaw and you can switch it to a spreader to hold or move studs into position. My favorite thing about these is the price, they are almost a quarter of the cost of the ones you buy at home improvement stores, and seem to work just as well. Overall, these are well worth considering whether you are a diyer, or prosumer.

Strong clamps, tight grip, a little hard to open up, but I've found when doing projects, you can never have enough clamps. 4 are included here. I can't vouch for 350lbs of force, as I have no way to validate that, but they definitely clamp pretty tightly. More than sufficient for gluing wood, etc.

The clamp handles are able to provide good clamping power; enough to crush a can and strongly compress it. They open up to just over 12 inches. The protective covers are a plastic feeling rubber that are relatively softer than the sturdy plastic material the clamps are made of. The rail is thicker than I thought it would be and feels like it wont twist on me. Overall, these appear to be quality clamps that are sufficient for my home woodworking / shoe repair projects.

Made my project infinitely easier once I figured out how to use these clamps for holding 2x4’s , 1x6’s , and 2x6’s in place while building a wood shed single handedly , perfect for a part time do it your selfer. Great product and have served their purpose well so far .

These clamps are constructed out of a heavy duty plastic and do seem to clamp well and with a decent amount of force, however as other people have noted the jaws are not parallel which can cause issues if you're trying to clamp things precisely.

a) These arrived well packaged and complete. b) These are surprisingly light and the components are professional looking and work well. c) The clamping lever is smooth and easy to operate . The deep throat and wide/long clamping surface make it very useful in some applications. I included a side by side so you can see the difference between this and what you may likely have now. ( Don't throw the other ones out!) d) As a function of the relatively lightweight materials ( including the bars) , these will not handle situations of extreme clampiness ( %^) . Meaning if you need a lot of force , look elsewhere. However , for 90% of jobs that most people will be using these for , especially glue clamping wood pieces, these are great. The release lever on these is kind of weird ( loose) and you need to get used to it. Also like many of these tools, they assemble them with oil on the mechanisms that may stick or rust, unfortunately that oil may get to more parts of the clamp than you need. I recommend wiping down the clamping surfaces with some glass cleaner or alcohol before each use. Because they are black, it is hard to see if any oil, grease or other crud is on them and you do not want to clamp dirt onto your finely crafted wood project! e) As mentioned , these may not be for the seasoned professional cabinetmaker , but for most of us...because of their lightweightedness, ease of use, large clamping surface, and pricepoint, these are a strong 4. I will report back if any issues arise...so far , so good.

A nice set of woodworking clamps is essential to most carpentry projects and these clamps fulfill that need. They open to 24 inches and are heavier than they look which tells me they should hold up for a long time if used properly. One nice feature of these clamps is the heads can be turned around easily to apply outward pressure, not something most other clamps can do. The only negative feature I have found is that the rubber end caps on these clamps come off rather easily and could get lost. The clamp would still work without this piece, but I don't see why they should be removable at all. Overall, I find these clamps to be of decent quality and am recommending them as a good purchase.

The plastic tabs that hold the rail on the end deform under clamping pressure and pop off. The rubber clamp pieces were permeated with some kind of oil and stained the wood that was being clamped. Not happy …..
