First off, lightning fast shipping. Arrived undamaged and we'll packaged. Thanks amazon. I was amazed at the product packaging; it was on par with a new iPhone or Samsung. Very nicely done and well designed. I didn't have a clue as what to expect with this, I was thinking since the military uses night vision that is unaffordable to the average consumer, that there was no way this product would work. I was thinking it would be more like a toy. I opened the box and of course without reading anything, just started pushing buttons in the dark. A light came on and I was really upset at first. I thought I got scammed. The night vision is just a light!! Really!!? Then I remembered how much thought went into the packaging. There's no way this is the night vision. So I started reading what each button was, and went into the pitch black again. It lit up the night like it was day. I am shocked at how well this thing works. And the quality is amazing. The screen is crisp. It does have a manual focus so if you use it for let's say hog hunting and the sucker is running full speed towards you, you might not have enough time to focus it perfectly . But I dont think that's what this was designed. I pointed this in my garage, at night with no moonlight and took a pic. The yellow circled portion is what I actually could see, absolutely nothing. Pitch black. The arrow pointing is the goggles. You can read the letters on the sign that I cant even see at all. This was with no zoom. It has a decent zoom but nothing major and the camera is cropped in a bit already so dont expect to get a wide field of view even zoomed all the way out. Comes with a very nice case, strap and memory card for saving pics. And has a bright spotlight as mentioned before. Pretty sweet I must say. Anyways, I'm very happy with this product and it will get tons of use, I highly recommend it!

They aren't binoculars as advertised. They are more of a viewer or a big camera. You can't hold it to your eyes as you would a pair of binoculars. Instead you have a screen to look at but it needs to be several inches from your face to see it. If you are trying to go unnoticed it is hard when you have a bright screen in front of you. The brightness can be adjusted. It's kind of like turning on your phone in a dark room and hope nobody notices. It can take photos and videos and includes a 32 Gb storage card. Underwhelming at best.

We live in a semi-suburban area with plenty of wildlife—bears, deer, coyotes, and smaller animals. I bought these night vision binoculars to monitor the outdoors, especially when our dog is out at night. If she barks at something potentially dangerous, I want to know right away so I can call her back. These goggles do the job fairly well. The infrared feature works reliably and provides a clear view in darkness.The binoculars came in fancy packaging with a decent instruction manual, a case, a cleaning cloth, and a USB-C charging cable. I was pleasantly surprised by their compact size. My older night vision goggles run on AA batteries and are much bigger and heavier, so the built-in rechargeable battery on this unit is a welcome upgrade. The battery life is solid, and the controls are straightforward and easy to use.That said, a few things could be better. First, the claimed 8x magnification is exaggerated. While the camera does zoom, at full magnification it looks closer to 2x rather than 8x. It’s a typical marketing stretch. Second, the viewing distance is awkward. I had to hold the unit about 10 to 12 inches from my eyes to get a clear image while wearing my prescription glasses. My 10-year-old son, who has perfect vision, also needed to hold it about 4 to 5 inches away. This makes the rubberized shroud around the screen useless since you can't rest it against your face like military-grade night vision units. Holding it at arm’s length makes the screen appear smaller than it should.Lastly, the pictures I posted of our dog outside were taken with an external camera and don’t reflect the actual quality of the device. The screen looked pixelated in the photos, but the real-life image was much clearer. Despite these issues, it’s a solid option for basic night monitoring—just be prepared to hold it at a distance for a clear view.

Wow, very cool would be the first thing I would say. These first of all kind of look like you would put your eyes up to the viewfinder, but in reality they sit in front of your face like in military applications where you're looking at more of a screen than independent viewfinders. It reminds me a little of the video recorders I grew up with with the settings overlays etc.. The recordings come out very nicely and basically what I saw in the viewfinders quality as they are advertised at 4KThe night vision part is really good. I have seen mostly lower budget night vision, but with these you can see everything from daylight to dead of night. Of course the dead of night vision aspect is more of a black/grey/white spectrum.The build is well made and can probably withstand some drops, though I do not intend to let that happen as I am sure enough will cause issues with the electronics inside. I like that they have a tactical light attached that has different modes (flashlight to strobe)For the price, I would say you get what you buy in most cases and this is one of them. You can tell that these are more professional and for those with more of a reason to have them. Even for home security and those with large properties, you would be able to see well into those dark areas without giving yourself away with a flashlight (you don't see anything from the other side except maybe the glow of the finder).All in all, this thing is awesome. It even came packaged in a nice box and presentation which would also work well for gifts. Great buy in my opinion!
