This universal throttle cable was a great way to fix my 20+ year old Murray mower.The unit was a direct bolt on replacement and was the perfect length.The only issue is the labeling on the control panel is reversed. Slow/Stop is opposite of how the original control worked.Yes you could take the control apart, flip the housing around and drill new holes into the handle to mount it or just leave it alone and re-label the control. That is what I did.While not the best idea, it did fix my mower so I don’t need to tie wrap the throttle open to use the mower.Does this item work, yes, is it universal, not really in my opinion but close enough to use it.Here is how I rate items:5 Stars = Exceeds all expectations, A definite buy! (Very Rare)4 Stars = Very good find, you should definitely give it a shot.3 Stars = It works and functions as advertised.2 Stars = A little scary, possibly OK, it may work out.1 Stars = Avoid this product, not worth the effort.

Item built well and will actuate throttle and choke adequately after I find machine screws and nuts to mount and anchor carburetor end with. Understand that these can have some variations but a select assorted few would cover most installations. Or at least a link off cable listing to order some from.
