This set of 4 1/2-inch heavy duty rust remover disk worked beautifully on my Milwaukee corded 5-inch right angle grinder. Having various rust stains on concrete and some corrosion on wrought iron this product quickly removed rust and stains from the substrate without significantly impacting the surface. The number 10 grit it is very aggressive but still able to get into smaller grooves and rounded wrought iron. The honeycomb material holds abrasive material nicely and made the work quick and effective.

I've found that these are very effective for descaling and removing rust from heavily corroded steel.A few things struck me during use. First is the relative ease with which these strip disks get down to bare metal. It doesn't take much downward force for these to work - just let the disk do the work and maintain steady control of the grinder. Also, I expected some amount of kickback or wrestling with the angle grinder to keep things under control, but that has not been the case at all. I haven't had any issues maintaining good control over the grinder, and I'm happy with how smoothly these disks seem to erase rust from steel.Durability seems good as well. I was expecting these to come apart quickly, but that has not been the case at all. I don't have anything negative to say about these and I feel that the price of about 26 bucks for the 10-pack is a reasonable deal.

I use strip discs so often, and these are as good as others I've had. They do tend to wear out somewhat quickly as they all do, but you're still going to get a few projects out of them. These are the most effective way of removing rust, corrosion or paint from metal, and I haven't found anything better. I've only seen one time where the colors are identified, and I think the purple is most aggressive, the blue less. However, I will say that I've noticed little difference between the colors with most brands including this one, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. The price is very good per disc, and I'd get them again.

These are very good 4.5 inch stripping discs for angle grinders and comes in different colors for different needs.
