My 4 years old Xbox One Controller now looks like it is new. But it was really hard to fit the analog sticks which seemed to be not the perfect fit for Xbox One Controller.

I just received my package and while the Amazon package was fine the packaging by Onyehn was not. Onyehn's packaging consists of a plastic zip bag to contain everything in which unfortunately didn't hold the product as the bag was bent up, mainly empty and the content were loose inside the Amazon packaging. The screws were in their own zip bag and secure. There was a tiny bubble wrap in the big zip bag, but nothing was in it.Two things that were noticeable right away was a missing Conductive Pad and one of the Silicon Caps. Unfortunately missing parts wasn't the only thing wrong as 2 of the 4 3D Analog Joystick parts were damaged(bent prongs). Also the two screwdrivers included weren't as advertised, they felt and looked cheaper than what's shown. I am aware that you could get one of two different sets. I received the grey ones, but the problem is the metal parts on both screwdrivers seem to be tarnished(brownish color) and felt kinda sticky.. I actually thought they were painted on. Also they didn't come with the logo, not that this part matters to me, but I wanted to mention it for full disclosure. Everything else from what I could tell was as advertised and in tact.When you have sensitive parts with little prongs that can be bent you definitely want to have better packaging than what Onyehn uses. The fact Amazon's packaging was fine but parts were missing as well as not in the packaging make it clear something was amiss before they were put in the Amazon packaging.

I only come to this because anyone who purchases these really needs to know there is a lot of soldering know how needed to replace the joystick parts. Videos are available, but they need more detailed video documentation of the solder point locations. IV still to see a good video before I attempt this. Price is good and I assume the parts are as well. I’ll return once I have successfully completed the repair.

this product worked as advertised. At first I replaced all the joysticks . Once you pop the controller open that is super easy to do. One of my controller had the left stick response start to get very buggy (not because of this product just worn) so I went back into this kit and replaced the ”electronics” for that joystick. That might not be for everyone. There are videos out there of how to do a “semi replacement” which doesn’t requiring unsoldering it from the controller board and resoldering a new one but I didn’t like that. I did the soldering path (I already had the tools for that) and now the controller works like new! Saved me a lot of money on a controller that I have had for a very long time!

Needed the kit for just one of the sensor disks in the module itself. Did the trick and eliminated the stick drift problem I had. Nice that it came with the screw drivers. I messed up one of the disks on my first try because my tweezers weren't really small enough for the job but that was my fault. Rubber conductive buttons didn't work with my controller but that's alright because I didn't really need them so I just put my old one back in. Overall good kit and did the trick.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the joystick potentiometers were made by Alps, instead of some no-name supplier. Alps is a long-established company, and it's parts are usually considered higher-quality for this, as far as I can tell. Some other replacement parts kits specifically list that they use Alps pots for that reason.The joysticks are very good replacements, but not quite as perfect as OEM. On these, you can see the seam from where the two halves were molded together, and the top flat surface is somewhat shinier than OEM. But really, that's nitpicking, and should be expected with aftermarket replacements. They'll work fine. If you're truly a perfectionist, there are other vendors that do sell just the sticks pulled from OEM controllers, e.g. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013GYA6J6/.I'm still keeping this kit, because I have no complaints about the pots, screwdrivers, or button pad. Although, I do wish it included a second button pad, since that's the one part missing that you would need to repair two controllers in full. Over several console generations, I've worn out several joysticks, but never a button pad, so maybe the thinking is that this kit is more for repairing one controller a couple times? Hopefully, it'll be good for me, but your mileage may vary.For reference, this is all from my order in May 2019. With these sort of kits, it's of course possible that the vendor changes parts suppliers in the future.

The joystick on one of my controllers was drifting, my daughter chewed off the pads on the joysticks, and the audio jack wasn't working. I didn't realise that this didn't come with an audio jack, but that's my misunderstanding, no fault of the seller. The security torx screwdriver is very handy to have. All and all, it's a decent little kit, except for the rubber button pads. I put these in just because I thought it would be a good idea for it to be new and fresh, but when I got it back together, half of the buttons wouldn't work. Put the old pads back in and everything worked fine. The picture attached is of one of the new pads. As you can see, they aren't the best quality. Everything else works fine though!
