I much prefer these bowls to other sugarcane bowls that claim to hold up well in the microwave. These bowls did not sweat, get soggy, or actually show any sign of weakening. Definitely a buy-again.

We hosted a party and one of our main dishes was a noodle soup. This bowl was great. It was the perfect size for a good portion for our guest and it held the soup really well. It kept and maintained its shape and there was no sign of sogginess. In other words it was leak proof. Would recommend.

I originally purchased these last year for my annual Christmas Eve gumbo party and they were a winners. The size is generous, but not in a bad way. Super strong and stable not to mention attractive, which added to the decor. Now I use them every time I make stew, Chicken and dumpling homemade soups… This is a no-brainer. If you’re looking for a strong sturdy bowl that holds up without issue, this is the one for you.
