Purchased these as I like to make homemade lanyards. There are 5 colors that will work with any project. They were not scratched or scuffed up upon arrival. The trick I found to help make clamping them easier is to remove the keyring and then replace once you have clamped it down to your material. Once clamped they do not come apart, this ensures that it will not fall off with excessive use. I would purchase these again as I have had zero issues.

Of the 8 golden pieces only 2 were usable - the rest were missing a prong. When closed the finish cracked. The pliers were dirty with an oily residue. Not bad to wipe off except it was all under the rubber ends as well
