I am a DIY homeowner that is building a new staircase for our front porch deck. These four pull-apart deck post skirts are exactly what I was looking for. Since I have ugly metal plates attached to the bottom of these trellis posts, I needed a skirt to cover up the mounting hardware. These post skirts do the trick. The skirts themselves are bright white molded plastic and they won’t need to be painted. The posts pull apart and snap back together so you don’t need to slide them over the post. They are designed to be used with a plastic post sleeve, (which I still need to purchase). Overall, I am super pleased with these post skirts.

Based on reviews and sizing concerns, I had low expectations. I waffled back and forth on design too, but in the end, whatever I got was going to be better than the existing shattered skirt. The size was exact and the color was exact. The fact that these join on the corners also makes it close to seamless. I am very pleased because I had the broken ones so long and was looking for a solution and these filled the void.
