I was replacing the boards on my deck which exposed the post support beams that sit on the cement pads holding up the deck. There were no fixtures of any type attaching the vertical posts to the cement. I ordered these deck post anchors to provide that support. I screwed them into the posts and into the cement. I feel that the deck is better supported now. Glad I caught that. Be sure to take a look under your deck. Can't be too safe.

These seem well made, very sturdy. What we liked best about these is that you can use them for a variety of post sizes.
