Exactly what I needed for my faucet. Added an o-ring and replaced the little plastic strainer and my faucet stopped leaking at the extension head.

This should be put in and taken out with a toothpick without damaging the 0-ring. The o-ring and screen can be cleaned many times. You rinse the o-ring and use a toothbrush (clean, just for that purpose) and a clothes pin to keep the hose from dropping back down while you work on the faucet head. You can still use the water hose to since away debris as you scrub. Use it on low. Definitely buy this and the o-ring is not forver , but not a one time use.

My Moen kitchen faucet with a high arch started leaking very badly. I identified that the o ring that fits between the filter and the hose end was missing or had deteriorated. I did not think that the o ring alone would stop the leak, but it did. If you have a similar model, check with the Moen manufacturer to see if your model has a lifetime warranty. Mine did.
