The probe tips are nice and sharp. However, the plastic has flashing that needs to be filed down, they're not uniformly straight, and they flex where the two plastic pieces meet. The metal sleeve is recessed about 7 mm so there isn't as much contact with the banana plug as I'd like. They work but they don't inspire confidence.

Very useful for probing small contacts or ones in tight spaces. My multimeter has a set of alligator clip leads where the clips unscrew leaving behind a 4mm pointy shaft on each. These probes slide right over them (although it did take me a few tries--the tolerance is quite tight) and the resulting probe is very long and pointy. Happily they arrive with rubber caps over the tips to keep them protected and me from stabbing myself with them. Also the photo is accurate--two sets came with my order. All in all, I won't need these very often but when I do they'll be VERY handy.

These are great for electrical diagnosing. Being able to back probe a circuit is the least intrusive, and sometimes most accurate, means of testing. I used these probes without issue on a golf cart I was diagnosing. The needles are strong, and I had no breaks or bends when piercing many cables and connectors on this project.Test probes are a must have for any toolbox and can't be beaten when you get a set of four at this price point.

The Cnhidee store piercing probes accept a standard 4mm jack , are 3.3" long and have 0.7mm point thickness.You get a set of 2- Red and 2- Black probes and can easily pierce wire insulation or be used to probe very small PCB components or SMD active devices.Due to the 0.7mm probe thinness, they will bend easily, and you should keep the guards on when not in use. Price/performance and quality of this probe kit makes it a solid 5 star choice !

I love these Extended Needle Test Probe Tips. They fit my leads perfectly and make a flawless connection. I'm really happy they come with four because while they are fairly sharp from the factory, I wanted one set to be very sharp so I can pierce wire insulation easily. So, I sharpened one set and painted a white stripe on each of that set so now I have one set for regular testing and another for piercing wire insulation when needed. These are so handy, and the price is great. I also got a set of the alligator clips which work the same way you just plug your multimeters test lead probe into the back of the alligator clip and now you have clip on test leads. Alot of the time I use the alligator clip on the ground lead and either the regular test probe or the Extended Needle Test Probe Tip on the positive test lead so I can clip to ground and test multiple points faster. These are really great products that make using a multimeter faster, easier, and more precise.

These tips fit my Fluke probes just fine, and securely. When I tried to pierce insulation, it didn't always work so well; it was hard to get through the insulation. Perhaps they are not sharp enough, or too thick. However for probing in a small, confined space on a PCB, where the stock probes that come with your DMM seem like tree branches, instead of a delicate instrument, these are quite good.
