THE 3 I got the 5m was good but the 3.17 was way off . no good to me ,

This product is exactly what it says. A 3mm shaft can fit through it, and it fits in 5mm parts. Unfortunately they don't give you a finished product. They drill the hole in the side and leave all the burs and imperfections. Because of this, nothing fits in or on it until I personal clean the product up. Wish they would do this for us.

I bought a package of three of these adapters but upon examining them, realized I could make my own simply by ordering some aluminum tubing, 3mm i.d. and 5mm o.d. Drill a hole 1/8 into the side and then cut it to about 1/2" in length. For the grub screw, measure its total diameter, then remove 1/64" - that'll be your drill size. The grub screw will cut its own threads into the aluminum as you turn it in. Hope this is helpful.

You read the title right? You will need this to run a surpass brushless motor in a traxxas due to the fact you need to close the gap between motor drive and the pinion gear. Easy to install. Fits tight. Works like a charm and most definitely worth it.

Does the job, but I had to deburr the grub screw hole in order for it to fit in the 5mm hole, not a big deal, but lol buy a file to fix this if u want to use it, other wise does the job and seems to work just fine
