At first I thought it was odd that it folded in half but it makes it easier to store and out of the waysI bought a matching charcoal gray table cloth , that I can just throw in the laundry

When set up it is still in two sections and there is only a locking mechanism on one side. The locking lever doesn't really lock, just sort of holds in place so any movement of the table makes it shift. A little nervous about the whole thing folding up if it is leaned on. Functional but needs some improvement. Fold up size for storing is actually pretty nice though.

This table stood out because while most have legs that fold up to enable sliding the table for storage, this table TOP folds in half making it take half the storage space....legs are still folded inward against top, 2 on each half. May sound complicated but it isn't, folds smoothly...also has strap handles to carry the folded table. It is as sturdy as the usual table and easier to use since the top is not padded and is smooth, the fold line does not affect use. I'm very satisfied with this table and I bought it because of the smaller size when folded...I don't use it often so that is important. Especially good buy if storage space is an issue. Typical weight and appearance.
