The bolt hole pattern is not centered, it's rotated clockwise too far. Even if I could get a bolt or nut to clear the pillars, there is no way to get a socket or wrench on them. This item is a quality control reject and should not have made it out of the factory.

It worked great for me. This is mounted on an eight horsepower harbor freight horizontal shaft engine. My old log splitter was a vertical shaft could not find an equivalent engine to replace it so I went with this setup. Very happy with this purchase good price.
