Item worked for a while but last night the lights didn't come on. I checked the outlet, then plugged the lights directly into the outlet and they worked fine. Tried the time in several other outlets and the power light never came on! What can we do to rectify this?Skip

This could be a great lighting control for the 12v DC Trex Lighting system. It works great as long as there is no rain. The timer portion is NOT WEATHER RESISTANT AT ALL. I had it under a 4 foot roof extension for a set of outdoor 12v DC Trex led post top lights. It rained once and it was done. The Amazon seller replaced it right away. I've installed the new replacement inside the sunroom next to the deck so the light sensor is useless now. This is NOT AN OUTDOOR PRODUCT.

Bought two of these, one for the front deck and one for the back deck. The front one had the timer die and the back one the transformer died. Pretty bad durability.

This item was better priced from Amazon than buying from Trex directly. I bought my first one from Trex and it's died in less than a year. Trex warranty process is useless and customer service is terrible. Much easier to just purchase directly from Amazon-better price, faster delivery and likely hassle free if ever an issue. Iām happy with this and would just buy from here again if needed.

Works well. I used it for my deck lights. Not sure about longevity yet as it was just installed.Update: Worked for 2 years and then died despite being covered from the elements. Not sure yet if it is the timer or transformer. My last one lasted 2 years as well.

Works good so far 2 months in. Definitely spend the time understanding how much load you're putting on the transformer. Go to Trex's website and review how many watts each light you want to use is. To be safe, I only have lights that use 80% of the overall load.

I wired some riser lights on my deck and this transformer works great. I did not use the timer, just wired an outlet onto my outdoor lamps circuit and plugged the transformer into that so the riser lights go on when the lamps do.The wire that extends from the transformer to the lighting is about 20 ft long, the wire for the plug is about 4 ft long
