The tree cost enough that we were not ready to give up on it. But the lights had given up on us. After eliminating every other possible cause of the malfunction, we decided to search Amazon for a replacement part. We ordered it and it arrived the next day (thanks to Prime). The tree is now working as it's supposed to. Thanks for a reasonably priced replacement part!Let the season of lights begin!
